Hello again, I hope you are having a great day and aren’t letting the stress of the holidays get to you. Today I am back in your inbox again with the second exercise in this 4 part series. And today I am taking you in the future (and who doesn’t love a bit of time travel?). These questions are focused on your long term goals - your life goals. When I did these exercises I was really surprised at what they brought into focus for me: my relationships. When you fast forward into your future, I want you to really think about what it means to live your life to its fullest. Who have you changed? How have you made the world better? What is going to be your legacy? For me, I am the happiest when I can make a real difference in the lives of others. My best moments at work are seeing those around me flourish. I love seeing my children grow into kind, caring people that give more than they take. I want to leave this world knowing I lived every day without regrets; always doing and saying things I am proud of.

Completing this activity is a good reminder to be the person you want to be. So get those journals out and lets fast forward! Again as you work on the questions below, feel free to post your answers here or in our Boss Moms Facebook Group.
Who (not what) do you really want to be?
The best way to get your present headed in the right direction is to focus on your future. What do you what to make of your life? One of the best exercises for this is to imagine your funeral and write your own eulogy. This activity is all about thinking through your future, so reserve an hour or two. Find a quiet place to work and dig right in...Now let's go a bit deeper.
Make a list of the people in your life that matter most...
Now imagine your funeral and for each person in your list, make a note about what they would say about you and your impact on their life. Be honest here even if it makes you uncomfortable.
Now identify any changes you need to make in your life now to improve your relationships. with those people. What can you do now, and the year ahead?
I can't wait to read your answers and look out for tomorrow's blog on making 2017 amazing!
